FSSAI registration Compalsory for All ABOs




Dear Leaders,

As you are aware, under Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), anyone
engaged in storage and sale of “Food” items needs to register with FSSAI. This requirement
also apply to Amway Business Owners. Adherence to this regulation is a “MUST” now. This
was communicated in the February F2F meetings and was again reiterated in the August
F2F meetings. We have observed that very few ABOs have done their registration.
All ABOs are required to get their FSSAI registration between September 2014 and
December 2014. ABOs who do not register till December 31, 2014 will not be able to
continue the business post January 01, 2015.
The process to register is simple. Registration can be done both online and offline. Amway
will try its best to facilitate the registration process from its offices but the “onus” to register
rests with the individual ABO. The process of registration may vary from state to state. You
are encouraged to contact your local Amway office to understand the process of getting
FSSAI registration.
